A brief summary of the facts include:
- This case arises out of back injuries that Plaintiff Steven Ogden allegedly suffered while he was working on the TRANSOCEAN AMIRANTE, a movable offshore oil rig located off the coast of Egypt.
- Ogden named two Defendants in the present lawsuit, GlobalSantaFe Offshore Service (“GSF”) and Transocean Offshore Deepwater Drilling, Inc. (“TODDI”).
- He alleges that he was employed by these two corporations as a Jones Act Seaman aboard the rig.
