- Plaintiffs, residents of Wake County, North Carolina, complain of personal injury and loss of consortium, where plaintiff Graham Yates was diagnosed with mesothelioma on August 13, 2012.
- Plaintiffs allege that his condition resulted from exposure to asbestos while employed as seaman, laborer, service station attendant, and automotive parts handler
- Some of the other defendants include – AIR & LIQUID SYSTEMS CORPORATION, successor by merger to Buffalo Pumps, Inc., individually and as successor-in-interest to The Delaval Separator Company; ALFA LAVAL, INC.; CBS CORPORATION, a Delaware Corporation f/k/a Viacom, Inc. (sued as successor by merger to CBS Corporation) f/k/a Westinghouse Electric Corporation; CRANE CO.; ELLIOTT TURBO MACHINERY COMPANY, a/k/a Elliot Company; FORD MOTOR COMPANY; HONEYWELL INTERNATIONAL, INC., successor-in-interest to Bendix Corporation, f/k/a Allied-Signal, Inc.; METROPOLITAN LIFE INSURANCE COMPANY; and WEIR VALVES & CONTROLS USA, INC., f/k/a Atwood & Morrill, Defendants.
