GM Ignition Switch Recall


auto accidentAccording to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), General Motors notified the agency “that it has determined that a defect [ignition switch recall], which relates to motor vehicle safety, exists” in the recalled vehicles.  It appears that GM has recalled over 1.5 million vehicles.

The full list of recalled vehicles includes:

  • 2003-2007 Saturn Ion
  • 2005-2007 Chevrolet Cobalt
  • 2006-2007 Chevrolet HHR
  • 2006-2007 Pontiac Solstice
  • 2005-2006 Pontiac Pursuit
  • 2007 Pontiac G5
  • 2007 Saturn Sky
